Horseman’s Harvest Neighborhood Pantry

Food Distribution Location: St. Teresa of Avila R.C. Church, 130 Beekman Ave, Sleepy Hollow, NY

Launched June 10^th, 2023 Horseman’s Harvest is a relatively new food pantry dedicated to serving those in need throughout the Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown communities, while also encouraging volunteerism, bringing together adults and students alike to help neighbors combat hunger and nutrition. 

According to Sleepy Hollow Mayor Martin Rutyna, food insecurity in our area is real.  “One in five residents of Westchester is food insecure, and more than half of the students in the Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow school district receive free and reduced-price lunches,” he said at the group’s launch party. 

The mission of the Sleepy Hollow/Tarrytown neighborhood food pantry’s is to alleviate food insecurity by providing nutritious foods and related support within the local community. 

Horseman’s Harvest distributes food the 4th Thursday of each month at Food Distribution Location: St. Teresa of Avila R.C. Church, 130 Beekman Ave, Sleepy Hollow, New York 10591
